HFB Volunteer Food Drive Each month, the Houston Food Bank will highlight a specific item necessary for our Backpack Buddy program that YOU can bring with you when you volunteer with us!	The Houston Food Bank is getting ready for hurricane season. If a hurricane strikes, we will need about 1,000 volunteers to help us feed more hungry people. Will you help us by coming out on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from noon to 4:00 p.m.? Call to schedule your volunteer time with us today. Let's make this day a big success! The Houston Food Bank utilizes volunteers six days a week in two locations throughout the city - Main Warehouse and Keegan Kitchen. Volunteer support is critical to our mission of leading the fight against hunger! Whether you come out as an individual or part of a large group, we are certain you will have an enjoyable, positive experience.
