End Hunger Network
recently completed an ambitious, exciting, and innovative project.
The Mary Barden Keegan Hunger Relief Center
is a state-of-the-art, multipurpose logistics center and
meal-processing kitchen. This facility
enables us to bring significantly more meals to hungry members of the Houston community.
|
Our building is
located at I-45 and South Main, just north of downtown.
More than 9,100 square feet is
dedicated to meal preparation and storage space and 2,463
square feet serves as the home
of End Hunger Network's administrative offices.
By consolidating most of the program operations and
administrative aspects of our organization into one
building, we have maximized operational efficiency.

The goal of our community-wide “Building to
End Hunger” campaign is to raise a total of $5 million,
$2.5 million of which funded the construction of the new facility. The remaining funds will be devoted to the expanded program resources needed to operate the new facility and to an endowment fund reserved for emergency purchases and maintenance costs.
